Moses’
rule of law We
are all Jews (James Woolsey, FrontPage Magazin, Oct 5, 2003):
"It’s not only the other two great Abrahamic religions,
Christianity and Islam, that owe a substantial debt to Judaism,
it’s the world as a whole. The reason is that between
three and four millennia ago something happened in the Sinai
among a tribe of refugees from Egyptian oppression that introduced
the world to the concept of the rule of law — the idea
that the law is not the whim of, but rather has its source above,
those who rule. This concept is at the heart of what makes decently-governed
societies possible, whether you sign on to Jefferson’s
formulation that we are "endowed by our Creator" with
basic rights or prefer the more secular notion of natural law."

Out
of more than 720 Nobel
Prizes awarded since 1901, more than 130, or about 18 percent,
have gone to Jewish laureates. Jews have won almost three times
the number of awards won by either Germany or France (including
their Jewish winners), and 10 times those won by Japan. Jews
comprise only 0.2 to 0.3 percent of the world's population.
Jewish
Nobel Prize Winners vs. Arab and Islamic Nobel Prize Winners
If
Arab and Iranian dictators want to compete with Jews, let
them do it in the realm of
innovation and education, and not by terrorizing and eliminating
the opposition.

is devoted to illuminating the intersection of rock and roll and
Jewish culture. Among the hundred-something bios, you’ll find
people who could reasonably take credit for the rise of both folk
music in the sixties and hip-hop in the eighties. You’ll see
at least four who could be held responsible for inventing punk rock,
and another three who lay claim to the birth of glam. And you'll
count innovators in prog rock, Brit pop, and funk who are all children
of Holocaust survivors.
RELIGION
HELPS SHAPE WEALTH OF AMERICANS, STUDY FINDS (Lisa Keister, Ohio

wealth Americans accumulate, with Jews amassing the most wealth"
Jews
prominent in '[Time magazine's annual] Top 100' list (JP, Apr 11,

"More than half its members, at least by one count, are Jewish."
Jewish

Batman, Spider-Man, X-Men, The Thing, even Thor: Jews channeled
'adolescent boys’ primal projections,' thus transforming a
disreputable enterprise - the lowly comic - into a cornerstone of
pop culture."
